PART TIME COACH AND OPERATIONS LEAD
(aka … a true unicorn)
Responsible for many of the day-to-day operations of the gym. This position handles both customer related and staff related system implementation and enforcement including tracking inventory, ensuring all numbers and metrics are accurate, accounted for and updated daily, any equipment or building issues, scheduling and leading team meetings.
Be a true project manager from start to finish.
This role will also be front facing to the customers by leading a limited number of group sessions per week and knowing every members name, job, pets name, spouses job, and where they went to 3rd grade soccer practice (not really, but very detailed).
Must love being around people
Must be a true professional
CrossFit L1 a minimum
Must be a team player and fearlessly adaptable (we’re gonna throw new stuff your way a lot - so be ready for change)
Exceptional verbal presentation and writing skills (pun-lover is a bonus lol)
Hates unfinished jobs
Must be technologically-savvy in learning new platforms and problem solving on their on
Must be organized beyond belief (spreadsheets, sticker charts, cleanliness, etc. - like it bugs you when)
Must be unafraid of creating new systems and enforcing them (you make the rules now)
Must be drama free and an open communicator
RESPONSIBILITIES (in no order or importance)
Coaching various sessions throughout the day
Ensuring tidiness and organization of various platforms and lists (updating master lists and KPIs and daily)
Responsible for reducing costs and overhead
Calling outside leads
Keeping gym tidy
Weekly meetings with staff and owner
Responsible for billing and collections
Meet with current members to discuss their goals and desires
Creating systems and processes for the high quality onboarding new members, documented staff procedures, etc.
Purchasing merchandise and notifying staff when
Ensure all numbers are hit (KPIs, overhead costs and expenses)
All spreadsheets are accurate so all staff can check in on progress
All other positions have what they need to excel in their roles
New systems created monthly with recaps of existing processes
