WHAT IS CROSSFIT?

CrossFit is a constantly varied, high intensity program that uses functional movements. We train movements, not muscles. We have a different daily workout lasting about an hour that consists of a warmup, a strength or skill session then a high intensity metabolic conditioning workout ranging from 5-20 minutes. It doesn’t sound long, but the intensity will have you thinking otherwise. We operate on a group class basis to emphasize intensity and community.

WHAT MAKES CROSSFIT MELROSE DIFFERENT?

Our day-to-day CrossFit workouts is the biggest difference between CrossFit Melrose and other gyms. Not everyday is a competition and we focus on being better people, not necessarily better athletes. Our structure lends itself to practice in a lower intensity environment for practice, but also high intensity intervals for fat loss and increased conditioning. If you're always feeling beat up from CrossFit, try our program. Some days are for you to push yourself, but some days require more mental practice than physical intensity.

Getting Started

If you're new to CrossFit, follow this 3-step process.

Step 1: No Sweat Intro

During the free No-Sweat Intro, you get the full behind-the-curtain view of what CrossFit Melrose is all about. This 15-30 minute intro is with one of our lead trainers who can help understand you and your goals.

Step 2: Learn CrossFit

Our Individual Foundations Package prepares you to be confident in our CrossFit classes. We offer a Private Coaching and Semi-Private Training options to fit your lifestyle, limitations and schedule.

Step 3: Join the community

Our members are people surround themselves with hardworking individuals seeking the goal of being a better person. Competition and athleticism aside, a daily challenge motivates our members.
